Our podcast is listened to by thousands of people each month which means that you must be prepared for your interview well before you arrive at your scheduled time for your interview.
Preparation is very simple however because of the simplicity the steps below are often forgotten or just overlooked. It is expected that you show up ready and don't just wing it!
DON'T do this before or during your interview
DON'T not listen to some episodes of the show prior
DON'T show up unprepared for your interview
DON'T show up without a mic or your wired mobile headset
DON'T be in a noisy place where you can be disturbed
What is expected prior to the interview & on the day:
You need to listen to a few episodes of the show
You need to have answers and stories prepared
You need a podcast mic OR your wired mobile headset
You need a quiet place and to be prepared in advance
Finally, please ensure that your headphones and microphone (if you are using one) are working prior to our kick off time.
We are often back to back with interviews and can't affort to wait 10-minutes while someone is fixing their mic on Zoom or any other software.
Remember that you'll need your wired headphones. The latency of Bluetooth can cause delays in the video and audio and this can totally ruin the podcasting experience for the guest, the host and especially the listeners.
* If you don't have a mic or your mobile headphones on the day of the interview we will have to reschedule.
